Roundhouse Rising: Saffron Presents Grove!
We’ve curated our own show for this year’s Roundhouse Rising Festival. We’re thrilled to have Grove, one of our artist development graduates, headlining – along with performances from the brilliant TaliaBle and Tlya X An.
Join us in London on October 23rd for a night of punk-infused dancehall, poignant lyricism and underground dub. Get your tickets here!
Our headliner Grove is an incredible UK rapper, vocalist and producer. Their single Big Poppa was released through Saffron last year and takes inspiration from Missy Elliot – it’s a must listen. Grove is making major waves right now and is known for their high energy live performances, and their club ready, genre-blending sounds.
Metal Magazine said of Grove’s debut EP – it’s “teeming with great dance-inducing anthems that have Bristol’s industrial kinks mixed with smooth Jamaican dancehall to perfect measure. Fill up your cup.”
You heard them! See you on the 23rd?
Named by Dummy Magazine as “one of London’s freshest and most exciting artists”, TaliaBle’s Roundhouse Rising performance is not one to miss. TaliaBle entered the music scene in September 2019 and has already performed at the likes of Corsica and Pickle Factory. She’s a multidisciplinary artist, and a wicked rapper, and is known for her experimental production and gritty, theatrical performances.
The gritty pop artist, Tlya X An, infuses her sound with underground dub, hip hop and world music elements. A producer, singer and visual artist, Tlya may be new on the scene but she’s already got bags of talent. In the words of the Sassy Show, Tlya’s music creates “a trippy reality of sensual darkness and moody eyed seduction”. Sounds enticing, right?
