Saffron named ‘Community Champion’ at Radio 1 Dance Awards

Saffron has been recognised for its contributions to diversifying electronic music at the Radio 1 Dance Awards 2026.

A panel of DJs, producers and artists affiliated with the station selected Saffron as the winner of the ‘Culture Champion’ category, shining a light on our quiet work behind the scenes of the industry, which has been ongoing for the past ten years.

Saffron’s Head of Development, Lizzy Ellis, was presented with the award live on air by Martha last week.
