NAVIGATING PERFORMANCE ANXIETY
It’s normal to feel nervous before a performance or big event, but how can we tune into that energy to make it work for us rather than against us.
Nervous system regulation doesn’t mean you never experience heightened emotions (that would be boring!) but it does refer to feeling more comfortable with emotions when they arise.
During this workshop we’ll explore performance anxiety from the point of view of a promoter, dj/musician and event organiser. Tuning into the topic from the perspecitve of neuroscience and nervous system, we will explore:
- What does nervous system regulation mean and how to do it?
- What’s your Reticulating Activating System, and how to make it work for you.
- Does our posture really change our biochemistry around confidence?
- Find your individual way to prepare and feel good before and during an event.
There will be an interactive session with plenty of opportunities to ask questions of your own.
