ABOUT PRS & PPL
PPL collects and distributes royalties on behalf of performers and record companies for the use of their recorded music. PRS for Music collects and distributes royalties on behalf of songwriters, composers and music publishers, for the use of their musical compositions and lyrics.

Mel Cameron, Member Relationship and Development Manager, PPL
Mel Cameron is the Member Relationship and Development Manager at PPL, the UK’s collective management organisation (CMO) for performers and record companies. She manages a team of Development Executives and specialist Relationship Managers covering classical, dance and black music genres, who provide direct support for recording rights holders and high airplay emerging artists to maximise their income from UK and international airplay.
Ashley Howard, Relationship Manager, PRS For Music
With 17 years of music industry experience in rights management, distribution, publishing, labels, sync licensing and A&R, Ashley works in the membership department at rights management and music licensing organisation PRS for Music. He raises awareness of PRS for Music’s service within dance music and oversees relationships with music creators who specialise in the genre, as well as their management and publishing representatives.
