HARNESSING INNER RHYTHMS FOR CREATIVITY
Have you ever considered how your inner rhythms affect your creative practice? What if there were ways to tap into the energies that surround us to make sure we are keeping our well being high at all times? Join us for our next Industry Insights where menstrual health coach and activist Lisa Higgins will be showing you:
- the gifts of each phase of the menstrual/moon cycle and how they can support both wellbeing and creative projects
- how to optimise your life so that you have more energy, less anxiety and improved self-confidence
- how to avoid burnout, physically, emotionally and creatively
- what to do if you are on your period and you have a weekend full of gigs
- how to handle rough days when you’re more self-critical or demotivated and alchemise them into personal and creative power
This interactive workshop is open to women, trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people. You do not need to have a menstrual cycle to join the session – we will be exploring the creative cycle and moon energies that are available to all. There will be a guided visualisation and journaling practice to deepen your experience so please bring a journal and pen.

ACCESSIBILITY
We never want money to be a barrier to people accessing music tech, so if you are unable to afford a ticket but believe you would benefit from attending these workshops, please email us on members@saffronmusic.co.uk.
Workshops are open to people worldwide, but will be running at 7.30 pm GMT so please bear differences in time zone in mind. If you purchase a ticket but are unable to attend live, you will automatically be emailed a recording of the workshop(s) after the event.
We are committed to making our online events as accessible as possible. We have created a guidance document about this – Click here to view the accessibility document. Alternatively, please email us with any access requirements you may have: hello@saffronmusic.co.uk
GENDER POLICY
The gender imbalance in the music technology industry is well-recognised. While we are absolutely not ‘anti-men’, we see that a shorter-term solution is to provide fellowship and learning environments that are not dominated by the cisgender male perspective. Therefore, these workshops are intended for women, non-binary, trans and gender non-conforming people to attend. While we do not ban cisgender men from attending, we hope that they will respect that this event is not intended for them.
