Looking back on our Expansion Sessions

Between January and April 2024, we brought together women, trans and non-binary people in Bristol for four Expansion workshops. These intimate sessions were a chance to learn new skills that are an extension of topics we touch on in our courses. Check out the videos below to watch highlights from two sessions in the series.

SOUNDWALK: FINDING & MANIPULATING FIELD RECORDINGS

This workshop focused on field recording and was led by Saffron tutors Daisy Moon and Medis, aka Marley Small.

DRUM MACHINES & LIVE DUBBING

This workshop gave participants a hands-on opportunity to play with synthesisers and drum machines in a collaborative live dubbing process. It was led by Jasmine (aka Guest) and Bridget (aka Sunun).
