Our sound engineering career development programme returns for a second year.

We are pleased to re-open applications for Industry Connect – Saffron’s training and work placement scheme for emerging sound engineers, supported by Youth Music.
What’s involved?
- 30 x paid working shifts, split across two of Bristol’s most established live music venues; Bristol Beacon and Trinity
- 12 training days, led by each venue’s in-house lead tech team
- Additional “professional development” masterclasses in subject areas chosen by the participants.
- Involvement in Youth Music’s Industry Coalition events
- Planning and delivering an industry networking event for other emerging engineers in Bristol.
Who is this programme for?
This programme is specifically designed for women, non-binary, trans or gender non conforming people who are already building careers in live sound and are looking to take the next professional step. It is aimed at individuals with existing hands-on live sound experience who are ready to develop their technical skills, confidence and professional practice to an industry-ready level.
