PLAYING THE MUSIC INDUSTRY GAME: NETWORKING, MARKETING & ALL-ROUND USEFUL TIPS FOR PROGRESSING YOUR MUSIC CAREER

In this session, Rhi Davies/Daffyi will share insights from her 10 years of experience working in artist, tour and media management. They have a wealth of experience, from producing after-movies for music festivals internationally, managing social media to representing artists and working as tour manager for artists such as Kurupt FM and Chloe Robinson aka Barely Legal. She is currently managing the marketing, communications and partnerships for the Bristol-based amazement park Wake The Tiger. 

Their session will include the following: 

– It’s not what you know it’s who you know – building authentic community 

– Being your own biggest cheerleader – framing your successes 

– The importance of collaboration 

– Patience is a virtue – why consistency is always key in music

– Next steps – how and when to build a team  

There will also be a Q&A at the end of the workshop with a chance to ask some questions of your own!
