At Saffron, breaking down financial barriers to people getting involved in music tech has long been an important aspect of our mission. That’s why we’re introducing a new community equipment hire initiative that makes industry-standard tools more accessible.
Offering state-of-the-art gear at affordable prices, our new rental platform allows music creators and DJs from all walks of life to experiment with the tools they need, without the cost or waste of buying new. Our hope is to encourage more environmentally conscious creative practices, whilst giving our community a way to invest in our mission.
This initiative is about more than just hardware – it’s about building a community where everyone has the tools to express themselves, connect with others and contribute to a fairer, greener music industry. You don’t need to be a woman, trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming person to rent out an item, but you do need to be based in or around Bristol, and able to collect from Saffron’s HQ in Stokes Croft.
