Daisy Moon
Daisy Moon is a Bristol-based DJ and producer who is versed in many different dimensions of electronic expression. As a producer, Daisy has demonstrated her range from the most upfront party flair to exquisite experimentalism. Her EP on Shanti Celeste’s Peach Discs, System Creak, was bursting with peak time energy shot through with a maverick glint, while her melancholic broken beat excursion ‘Reflections On A Flower Garden’ was picked for the Curl Compilation 2 curated by Mica Levi, Coby Sey and Brother May. She has also released on Timedance, Rhythm Section, Idle Hands and Control Freak recordings, and has upcoming contributions on Rotterdam’s Nous’Klaer and Facta and K-Lone’s label, Wisdom Teeth.
As a DJ, her scores of mixes for platforms like Crack, Fact, Daisychain or Untitled 909 are matched by her appearances at Horst, Fabric, Tresor, The White Hotel, Glastonbury, Love International and Dimensions which exist as outlets for the tweaked, playful club gear she holds dear.
Daisy is one of the co-founders and tutors behind Mix Nights which is a DJ course, platform and community designed to encourage women, trans, non-binary and minority genders to learn how to DJ. She is the Pathways and Events Curator at Saffron and is one of the lead facilitators for their education programme, with over 10 years experience running and delivering workshops in multiple areas of music.
